2025/1446 About Eid al-Fitr Announcement

In keeping with our tradition, on the 27th night of Ramadan (Thursday, March 27), Taipei Grand mosque will hold special prayers for Laylat al-Qadr. We warmly invite all brothers and sisters to actively participate and share in this blessed and possibly sacred night.

According to Islamic law, fasting continues through the 29th day of Ramadan (Sunday, March 30), after which moon sighting will be conducted:
-If the new moon is sighted, Eid al-Fitr will be on Monday, March 31st.
InSha Allah
- If the moon is not sighted, fasting will be completed for 30 days, and
Eid will be on Tuesday, April 1st. InSha Allah
The official announcement of Eid will be posted after 8:30 PM on March 30 Sunday.
